Layouts of the Shenandoah & Potomac Valley Garden Railway Club
Lost River & Western Railway Co.

The Lost River & Western RY Co. is in the process of being built, and bears the same name as the owner's HO railroad. The layout is based on the past and current day Winchester & Western RR. The LR&W will be multi-leveled. The bottom level will be on a O% grade and sufficient radius to run engines at least 2-8-8-2 & 20-30 car trains. The second level will overpass the first level several times with many bridges. The second level will have 3-5 % grades and smaller radius for 2-8-0's and any diesel.
All has gone according to plan, and it was operational by mid-January.
